You can visit fortress walls with beautiful panoramic views of the whole city and the main holy locations and tourist sights. Attend Church of St. Demetrius (Patron of Thessaloniki), Holy Monastery of Saint Theodora, where her holy relics are kept, Cathedral Church of Agia Sophia of Thessalonica (which was built as a replica of Agia Sophia in Istanbul), catacombs of St. John the Baptist. You will also get a chance to pray in the Metropolis of Thessaloniki – the temple where the relics of St. Gregory Palamas rest.
