Characterized by the eternal symbol of the city, the Acropolis, which was constructed in the 5th century, in the Golden Age of Pericles in honor of the patron city-state goddess Athena. Modern Athens is a metropolitan center that is pulsing with life and cultural activities all year round. A destination that, besides the monuments, lures its guests with the beautiful neighborhoods, the crystal-clear beaches – a breath away from the center – its tasty cuisine and its famous nightlife.

Itinerary

Day 1:

Arrival at the international Airport of Athens & transfer to the hotel Welcome and Check in Short tour across the evening Athens and come together dinner at the Greek tavern in Plaka

Day 2:

Breakfast at the hotel. One day guided cruise to 3 islands: Aigina – Hydra - Poros. Lunch in a restaurant by the beach on one of the islands. Dinner in the center of Athens with Acropolis view

Day 3:

Breakfast at the hotel
Business program & lunch.
Explore Athens the ancient metropolis of Greece. Optionally – visit of museum of Acropolis
Dinner in the Greek style with live music (bouzouki)

Day 4:

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out from the hotel and trip to Attica
Visit of the museum of wine and estate Costa Lazaridi
Lunch with seafood by the beach
Visit to the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion.
Transfer to the airport & departure.

VISIT A MUSEUM IN ATHENS

New Acropolis Museum: The New Acropolis Museum is the jewel of the city with 4.000 exhibits. The journey to history begins from the courtyard, under the glass floor, where you can see part of the ancient quarter that came to light during the construction of the Museum.

National Archaeological Museum: one of the most important museums in the world, the Archaeological Museum of Athens has treasures of all the cultures that flourished in the Greek world, from prehistoric times to the end of Roman domination.

Benaki Museum: the 33.000 works record the historical path of the Greek world from antiquity to the Asia Minor Catastrophe. The collections of Toys and Children’s Age, Coptic and Chinese Art, as well as the hall with works by the great Greek painter Nikos Hadjikyriakos-Ghikas, stand out.

SHOPPING IN ATHENS

The center of shopping is Monastiraki and Plaka. In the neighborhood of Psyrri there are small shops, all sorts of items and also ateliers of new designers. Ermou is the most commercial street of the center, followed by Mitropoleos and Stadiou street. At Voukourestiou street you will find luxurious jewelers and branded shops, while in Kolonaki excellent boutiques are concentrated on the streets near the homonymous square. Outside the center of Athens, you can find shopping malls, mainly in Maroussi (Golden Hall and The Mall). In the area of Spata and very close to the airport there are Outlets with discounts and offers throughout the year.

TOURS FROM ATHENS

Delphi was inhabited since the Mycenaean times (14th – 11th century B.C.) by small settlements that were dedicated to Mother Earth. The worship of Apollo as the god of light, harmony, and order, was established between the 11th and 9th centuries B.C. Slowly over the next five centuries, the sanctuary grew in size and importance.

Argolis: Enjoy a wonderful one-day excursion to Argolis, visit Corinth Canal, Ancient Corinth, Epidaurus, Mycenae and the city of Nafplion, one of the most beautiful cities in Greece!

Visit the Cape Sounion and explore the spectacular temple of Poseidon. Drive by the Athenian Riviera foresee the scenic coastal road that offers the wondrous view of Saronic Gulf while passing through the most splendid suburbs of Athens and visit the Poseidon’s Temple.
